Kefir anyone?

I recently began eating ... or is it drinking... kefir. It's thicker than milk and thinner than yogurt. You could really eat it or drink it. Do you use kefir? How do you like to have yours?
( I started using it for candida. There is a candida forum but it's a ghost town. I have posted and recieved no response. If you happen to be in an ACTIVE candida support group, I would like to join.)

i drink it straight. just good ole full-fat plain kefir. the champagne of milk. lol
but I'm also one of those crazy people who doesn't care how things taste if they're good for me. (well... to a point)0 -

I looooove kefir. I wish I could find full-fat varieties around here, but still, I'll take what I can get. I absolutely adore making protein shakes with it, especially chocolate kefir and raspberries. It makes such a light and foamy yet tangy shake, mmm. I also drink it straight, of course.0

I used to drink it a lot as a child. I've actually never seen it in Canada.0

Maybe my phone text is too small, but I had to read that title at least three times.0

I tend to enjoy the flavors of things that most people hate such as plain yogurt, or cereal that tastes like card board. I fell in love with plain kefir right away! MMMMMM0 -
Meh.
I drink it occasionally, but I don't love it.
In particular, I like it as an alternative to yogurt when I'm travelling in the car as a meal substitute. Good protein that's easy to drink as opposed to having to eat yogurt with a spoon.0 -

they sell it at Costco! In one litre cartons. Enjoy!0 -
Good stuff; it's actually insanely easy to make. Just order the grains from Amazon or another online source like Cultures for Health, add any kind of milk and in 12-24 hours you have a probitic drink that doesn't need refrigeration. Once you get the rhythm down on how you like it to taste, stuff it in the fridge to slow the fermentation down if you aren't going to drink it right away. I have noticed a distinct improvement in digestion after drinking some. Same with any other fermented food for me.0
