Two Weeks Back at The Gym - Anyone in the Same Boat?

Hi There! I just wanted to know if anyone else was training for a race or playing football. I haven't ever played football before and this is my first year. Training camp starts in three weeks, I used to be a fitness junkie but I let that slide and came up with 100 excuses why I shouldn't go to the gym. Now I am two weeks in. And curious what everyone else is doing.
How are you finding the gym? What does your workout schedule look like?
I am at the gym 6 days a week. I have been walk/jogging 20 km a week and just started adding some plyometrics this week.

There's a popular meme going around that has the following:
"What do you do for exercise?"
I lift weights.
"What do you do for cardio?"
I lift weights faster.
This is me.
* Disclaimer: OK, I do 15 minutes of HIIT cardio at least once a week. :P0 -
Thanks for your reply. I do incorporate weight lifting into my routine but I lift them at home with my husband. I'm a fan of how one feels after a good weight lifting session.
What is it that you are training for?0 -
HIIT and tabata workouts seem to work best for me when I'm trying to build my cardio.0
