My family and I are getting Chinese take out tonight for a special occasion. What's my best plan? Anyone have any dishes to recommend that's aren't crazy high in cals/salt/fat? Thanks!

Try small portions of everything you want to eat. That's what I do at buffets. Start with a salad. Helps keep you on track and feel fuller.
EDIT: You said take out. Sorry!0 -
Eat a small portion and save some for leftovers! Or eat it all at once and let yourself have a cheat day. No harm no shame. You won't get fat over night :bigsmile:0

Stay away from deep fried breaded meats. Look to see if they offer "happy family" variety of meat, shrimp and grilled veggies. Ask for ALL sauces on the side.0

Most chinese food places will prepare all the veggie dishes without the msg if you request it. Stick to the choices that arent battered. Have a lovely family night!!0
