Anyone have any clue how come the my run keeper app shows higher cals burned than when I log it here? Today run keeper logs 448 cals burned and when I logged it here it drops down to 413???
Am I to assume the difference is what my body burns just being alive for that 80 min and mfp took that into account already?

Possibly or they use different formulas to estimate calories.0

I find my running apps give consistently higher cals. Obviously they take terrain into account, which mfp can't. But I do tend to take them with a bit of a pinch of salt.
And no, mfp doesn't take base rate out of its calories calculations.0
