Trying to comprehend all this new info...

I first started using the app that I found by chance on my phone...I did not even know that there was a website until about a week ago with all of this knowledge/advice about BMR, EAT, NEAT, TDEE (ABC, 123)...lol, just kidding, but really, it is a bit confusing. I had to wrap my head around all of this new info and I think that I am getting it now. :blushing:
When I first started using the app, I put sedentary as my setting because, at the time, I was not working out or doing too much activity. Now that I have been doing this for a few months now, I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and am moving and burning a ton more calories than I used too.
I am set at 1,200 calories, but I am feeling soooooo hungry all the time (and a bit *****y too, lol). :explode:
Once you get up and moving for a while, should I be changing my activity level to be adding more calories to my day? I find it very hard for 1200 to satisfy me anymore but I am so worried about upping the calories and stop loosing weight...
So, I guess I am kind of confused now :ohwell:

You can either change your activity level, which will up you daily caloric allotment, OR start recording your exercise activity, which will also up your calories commensurately. You can "eat back" part or all of these additional calories. You are right, 1200 calories isn't much to live on. So I suggest you do one of these two options.0

You may want to use a calorie deficit calculator to figure out how many calories you need to eat based on your height, weight, age, & activity level. I like to use http://www.fitwatch.com/qkcalc/caloriedeficitcalculator.php. After you figure that out, then you would begin eating a deficit of this to lose weight. If you don't do this, then you need to eat back your exercise calories. Most people need to eat more than 1200 calories. You will begin to see results soon enough.0
