What are some ways to incorporate plain Greek yogurt into SAVOURY meals?

It's taste is similar to sour cream, so you could use it like you would sour cream as a garnish or to add to sauces. I know that there are recipes for yogurt dips for veggies/chips (I've seen some on Pinterest). I mainly use it in sweet dishes though.0

I like the first one with the chicken. I mixed in some dijon mustard, salt/pepper, and parmesan cheese and put on top of salmon and it was great!

Mmmm! I'm going to try that salmon idea!0

In the Mediterranean they use it to dip meats I love it like that. You can also dilute it with water for a nice drink.0

Do you mean you roll the meat around in the yogurt before cooking it?0

I used it once to coat chicken before I breaded it when I didn't have any egg.
Actually came out delicious.0 -

Nope. I mean once it's cooked you can put some yogurt on the side and dip your meat in it as you eat. It's pretty common in the Mediterranean. You can eat meatballs this way as well as any grilled meats.0 -

Ooooh, that makes sense! I think I will give that a try!0 -
I added it in my mash potatoes and mac and cheese in replace of butter and milk. It comes out pretty good. I boil 3 garlic cloves with the potatoes and it helps hide the yogurt taste.0

I like that idea! I don't make mashed potatoes too often, but next time I do, I am definitely doing that!0 -
I believe i used yogurt in making indian dishes. Part of the sauce with tomato sauce and spices...I'm guessing greek would work similarly...0
