Too Much Too Soon?

I've been on myfitnesspal for about 4 weeks now. I started by doing 20 minutes 6 days a week on the elliptical. During the 3rd week I started increasing some days to 25 or 30 minutes a day. In my fourth week now I've started using the elliptical twice a day, for a total of up to 45 minutes. Should I be afraid of burning out? Or any other concerns about moving so fast (or so it seems to me?) I certainly don't have enough time every day to work out twice, and 35 minutes is the most I've done in one spurt.

Do you incorporate other types of exercise in addition to the elliptical? The only down side to doing the same thing every day is that you could risk over use injury, and you will not be working out your whole body.0
