Eating Right

One thing I notice when I diet using MFP is that the calories seem high. Not really if you're eating junk, but as I'm trying to eat healthy, the calories just dont add up. for example... this morning I had a banana and a glass of orange juice for breakfast, lunch was brown rice with chicken breast, yogurt afterward... lean cuisine ravioli for dinner and i drink water regularly. I just dont seem hungry and the calories are low. I just dont want my metabolism to get any lower than it already is, lol. Now let me say im only a week in so is this just a phase where my body is changing over from the food change or what?Any advice is appreciated.

Are you eating any veggies?
When I first started this about a month ago, I was eating salads all.the.time. I'm taking a break from eating them for now, but I do plan to start them up again. But, no, there aren't any foods that speed up your metabolism.
Are you exercising any? If not, your appetite my seem suppressed.
