my daughter has a 4 month old baby daughter, my first Grandchild!!
she's struggling a bit with her energy levels and is being a bit grumpy
can any new or old mums suggest some things she might eat or drink to help?
btw, she is breastfeeding if that's important

Is your daughter's baby sleeping through the night? Since its her first she needs to try and nap when the baby naps, even if she's just laying down and putting her feet up. Small meals and light snacking vs. 3 larger meals would help with energy levels. Getting outside and walking (or whatever exercise she prefers) will actually help her body get back on track, clear the cobwebs from her brain and improve attitude.
If things are really rough she should talk to her doctor as she might have PPD.0
