Conjugated Linolenic Acid

Has anyone used this? If so, have you noticed any benefits?

I came across it on someone else's thread so decided to research it. Whilst the studies do seem to report a decrease of fat and increased muscle tone, the results were inconsistent.

I eat organic full-fat, grass-fed dairy to get my CLA. I have seen a decrease in body fat and an increase in my muscle tone. Not sure if the CLA is responsible though.

The benefit is in the naturally raised and grass fed beef and organic milk products and not in the CLA itself simply because if someone is overweight supplementing CLA will have no noticeable effects except in your pocketbook and considering supps are not regulated your basically getting the really good verbal diarrhea that goes along with it as well. imo

You may be right. I know people who have been taking CLA for several years with no noticeable change in their weight.

I just started taking it last week along with BCAA.. No changes yet but I am curious to see. I figured it doesnt hurt to try and the results are so different between people I just went for it. What may not work for most might help me.

This. I also eat grass-fed beef whenever possible. It has a better fat profile overall vs. grain fed--less saturated, more monounsaturated. And it tastes great.

I don't touch the conjugated stuff. Only infinitive.
