No time to work out

Hi, I'm a mom of 2 and I work full time. My husbands schedule at night is one that means I can't go out to the gym so I need to find a DVD that is quick effective and can be done after the kids go to sleep but before I collapse in front of the tv. I have hashimotos so I have a very hard time losing weight and I also have fallen arches so my feet and knees hurt when I do too much jumping or running. Is there a DVD that you guys could suggest that is not too long and not too strenuous on my knees/feet. I've tried the shred and turbo jam but I'm looking for something new. Thanks in advance

Write your own.....go on line and look for exercises that look interesting, target upper, core, lower, and full body workouts. Look for some that just use body weight and then try them.
You don't need a gym..only body weight, a desire to try, and willing to work.
Always follow:
1) Warm up at least 5 minutes
2) Workout
3) Cool down
4) Stretch

i like dance dvds even though i am a klutz. bellydance or burlesque are total fun. Zumba is a lot of work, and i end up hitting myself :-p so i prefer running for injury free calorie melting.
if you want something adaptable, you can always go with the wii fit - the step etc aren't all that intense, but i think you can put real effort into the strength and yoga if you choose... and the balance games make for some fun when you get bored with exercise :-)
or get some weights and try a lifting program.0 -
my fave answer to these posts/... fitnessblender.com ! Ok not a DVD but they are free workouts and heaps of them ! they all give a rundown on what will be in each workout as well
also I have seen a book rec here heaps of times called You Are Your Own Gym , at home and no equipment workout. I am considering getting this !0 -
100 push ups 100 sit ups and 100 body squats a day only takes about 15 min and its a full body workout thats awesome0

Got a smart phone? Nike Training Club is a free app full of great workouts from 15-45 minutes long. Some use dumbbells, some just your own body weight. I use it all the time.
