Loosing weight not going well for a friend....

Hi so I am asking this for a friend. He is very disappointed because he cannot seem to loose the weight. He eats relatively healthy and indulgeces in a candy bar or slice if pizza here and there. He used to weight 240 this was after he lost about 10 lbs after he started going to the gym and changing uis diet to a healthier diet. He was stuck there for a while the thing is he does not eat bad at all he lifts 5 days a week and runs about 4 miles 5 days a week. He has tried using myfitnesspal and portion control ect. He recently lost 15 lbs and weights in at 224 now this was while he went on an all juice(natural homemade) diet for 10 days and he has changed his diet even more now having as much fruits and vwggies and cutting down frastically on meats breads carbs ect. But it has not dobe anything. He has tried doing hiit in hopes of it helping him but it truly isnt working. Does anyone have any advice i hate seeing him down and upset so much...he is hope on a goal weight of 200 but is thinking abiut giving up because nothing seems to work.
