could someone explain to me the numbers in the section about daily / vs goal? every day so far - it has shown the adjustment in calories because of my exercise registered on the fit bit. today - it shows -0-. it shows I've not burned any. does it only show calories burned above the 1200 per day that I set it up for?
I've walked about 4k steps today - uphill, downhill etc. 7 flights of stairs so far - 1183 calories burned (fitbit).
maybe I just haven't figured out how this thing works in conjunction with my fit bit?

the fitbit works out how many cals you burn just to stay alive (BMR) and uses your history to estimate your normal burn over a day. If you haven't burnt as many cals as expected, you can end up with a negative number, particularly in the morning. On the weekends, if I sleep in, I normally end up with a negative number until lunch time as it was expecting me to do around 2000 steps before lunch. It evens out by the end of the day though.
BTW, there is a Fitbit group if you want to join it. Lots of good advice on there0
