Hi! I'm not really sure what I'm doing here but I read a lot that the community really helps with weight loss, so I thought I'd get involved and start a thread. I don't know where to go next but I'm hoping this is a good start!
I'm hoping to lose (at first) 28lbs to bring me down to my goal weight of 10st (140lbs). I'm 5'6" and naturally curvy.
I've been trying all year to lose weight but it hasn't really been working.... not enough gym time, and although I've been eating relatively healthy (little-to-no fast foods/fried foods. I've been cooking most of my meals myself from scratch) but the weight hasn't been shifting. I'm pretty guilty of eating late at night/snacking on chocolate in the evening.. oops.....
I have a really slow metabolism.
So... that's me! I've recently tried to really buckle down, going to the gym 4/5 times a week. I really want to lose the weight, even though it feels and seems impossible.
Anyone in a similar position? I just want to feel confident showing my skin, and to look nice in my clothes!
