Uncooked Rice in the Slow Cooker?
I have three ingredients that I really want to throw together in the slow cooker tomorrow, but I can't find a recipe that works, so I'm going to wing it...only question - is it possible to throw uncooked rice in at the beginning of 8-10 hours, and have it turn out cooked at the end? Or should I premake the rice and add it towards the end (defeats the purpose of hands off supper...but anyway)
I'm using pork loin chops, beans and rice - plus some broth, spices and veg...
