This weekend was bad. Friday night I went to a friends and had a few drinks, which I don't do very often. When I got home I got the worst craving for some mac and cheese. So what did I do? I made a big pot of homemade mac and cheese, with 5 different cheeses (yum), that I ate all by myself. Then when I woke Saturday morning I couldn't help but want some more of that delicious macaroni, so I once again made myself a pot. I was determined to get back on track so I attempted to calculate the calories, worked out, and ate light the rest of the day. Well around nine I need some more!! Again I made macaroni. Today I am back on track, though to be honest if I had any more noodle left I would have probably made some more. I'm gonna be mad at myself at tomorrows weigh in.

i made mac and cheese this weekend too for the first time since i've started counting cals! unfortunately, it's shockingly high in cals. . . oh well, back on track tomorrow! don't even buy anymore noodles! lol:happy: honestly though, we're going to get cravings and indulging in those every once in a while makes it much easier to not fall off the bandwagon and never return!

I agree with elliotto62907. Whole wheat pasta is the way to go, then top it with a little of your cheese. We mix in cream cheese. They make so many different kinds of cream cheese now. Zap it in the microwave for 20 or 30 seconds to melt the cream cheese and you're good to go. MMMMM Delicious! Good Luck!:flowerforyou:

hopefully you're not pregnant sweetie...unless of course you're trying...last time i had a craving like that, i got my son 9 months later  either way, you're back on track, and you need to give yourself that little treat every once in awhile otherwise, it would be really hard to make the progress that you have....good luck, and don't sweat it :)

Nope, not pregnant! My husband has been in Afghanistan since Feb 2007 so that's not really possible! I actually did use the whole wheat pasta, but I'm not allowing myself to buy pasta anymore because of what happened this weekend! It was sooooooooo good though :)
