How to enter nutritional info?

How can I enter a food that is not in the database? I don't like choosing "similar" things when I have the ability to add the correct info myself (for example from a website or when scanning my barcode brings up inaccurate nurtritional info). I see how I can create a "personal food" but it's not personal, it's a restaurant food that isn't in the database but has the nutriional info on their website, so I want to add it myself rather than picking something "similar" from another restaurant. I don't need it to be personal, other people probably have looked for it too! Also, just last week I scanned some oatmeal and the nutrition info that came up was wrong :huh: and I wished I knew how to just create a new food in the database by entering it myself from the nutrition label on the box.

It's not hard. Are you talking about the app or the site?

For site just go to My Foods and Create Food

For app just go food diary, add food then settings and Create Food

I do all my entries and changes on the computer rather than my phone - if you search for a food and there is an incorrect entry for the thing you're looking for, it gives you the option to edit the entry and this is saved in your "my food" section.
