I'm new to MFP and a middle-aged empty nester in need of friends/support! Doing the low carb thing. REALLY hoping the logging of my foods/exercise will help me make some real progress. Lost 70 pounds about 10 years ago and now dealing with about 10 pounds regain -- after never having gotten to where I should have been to begin with! :-/ I love working out on my bike and strength training but I like being lazy sometimes too. Right now I can hardly do anything with a stupid broken toe. Soooo....hello! Is anyone out there?

Welcome to My Fitness Pal.
just started on the low carb diet again. I had my thyroid removed last year and have read that a low carb diet might help with the weight loss. I don't know if that's true but I thought I would give it a try and find out as I keep gaining and losing the same few pounds. Hope it works.
