Whewweee --- went over my calories today as I normally do on Sundays that I work video because I get myself mcdonalds at 6 am in the morning lol - So decided that I was going to work off all my calories on the eliptical -- Needed 31 minutes on it to bring my calories back to not being negative and to give me my 270 calories under that i like being because i lose the most weight that way - then i decided that i would go an extra 12 minutes so that i would be able to have my pudding that i like to eat

So my question is ok so I went over over my calories by 520 calories and I like to be 270 calories under what I need as I found that I lose weight the best at that ratio - So technically I went over my calories - But I did work out enough to gain those calories back will me working off those calories be as if I never ate them to begin with?

I guess you "earned" your calories if you come out even or at a deficit. I don't really eat back my exercise calories as a general rule, but I also don't get a massive burn. I don't personally try to negate crappy eating by working out extra. I think that validates bad choices and can lead to keeping bad eating habits. I have bad bingeing tendencies anyway, so if I binge, I just live with it, exercise if I feel like it, but not try to make my choices "ok", if that makes sense. But, that's just for me. If you come ut even or at a deficit, it doesn't really matter, so long as you're not overtraining to make up for treats.
