Drinking Water

I've never really been a big water drinker, and now that i'm trying to drink my full 8 glasses of water a day with everything else, I find myself unable to stand it! I'm the type of person who drinks a lot of water when i'm really hot, or really thirsty, but if i'm just needing a drink with dinner, I can't do water, it has to be something flavoured. It doesn't help that i'm such a picky eater, ( it's ridiculous, i'm ashamed of me for being so picky! ) I've been looking and considering things like crystal light, but isnt that just mostly sugar still? So i'm wondering if anyone else has been in this situation, and what they did about it? I'm a big on flavour person, so I end up putting more than i need to in a cup of anything, so any suggestions would be great, thanks! :)

The 8 glasses a day of "pure" water is a myth.
Coffee, tea, soda, flavored water, juice, etc all contribute to your hydration so no need to struggle to drink plain water if you don't like it.

Well that's reassuring! I've taken a liking to sweet tea, and I could drink 100 glasses of that a day! Just need to stop putting so much sugar in it...

I drink crystal light as I don't like plain water. It doesn't contain any sugar and comes in so many flavours. The mocktail flavours are great. I also drink Ocean Spray diet low calorie beverages and they only have 2g sugar per 8oz. Cran pomegranate is my fave. As for your tea, try adding Stevia instead of sugar.

oh awesome, i always thought crystal light had a lot of sugar, i guess it just tasted sugary to me. I haven't seen Stevia before.. is that like splenda?

Yes it's similar to splenda but supposedly a healthier sugar substitute. You can also get other sugar free flavour packs for water such as Nestle and diet Kool Aid. Enjoy.
