Not quite new, but new enough!

Hi! I've been *using* MFP for about six weeks now, but I've mostly been lurking with some occassional posts in random threads. Now that the weather's warming and I feel my commitments looming overhead, I figure now's a good time to make some friends to keep me on track ^_^ seeing the progress of others is a huge motivator for me.

I'd love to have some friends in similar situations or goals. So, a bit about me: I'm 23, graduated in August and now working part time as a teacher. I've never been overweight -- 5'6" with a HW of 135 / CW: 129. So the motivation to be fit is slightly different, and often lacking :/ My diary is less than inspiring but I recently opened it to friends.

I started C25k recently. I completed week 1 last month, but took a break for vacation (didn't feel like running in below freezing temps) so I restarted week 1 yesterday -- outside, instead of on the treadmill like last month. Running outside sure is harder!! I'd like to do a Run for Your Lives (zombie 5k) or maybe the color run.

My biggest goals -- I'm backpacking in SE Asia for a month over the summer (alone!) and I want to be fit enough to go on jungle treks and fight ninjas (if needed ^-^).

So yeah -- any takers? I'd like friends with similar goals or interests but everyone's welcome to add me :D

    Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm in the stay fit and maintain phase of MFP after 9 months. I'm finishing up week two of C25K. My sister and I are doing a Color Run next month and wanted to be able to run at least part of it :).
