Cutting Calories During Injury?

I run on average about 25 miles a week, and I eat roughly 3200 calories a day in order to maintain my weight, I recently suffered a pulled muscle, and I cannot run for at least a week. As I am not prone to injury, this is new for me. Should I cut back the amount of calories I eat for a week since I will not be able to work out except for some strength training? Or, should I not worry about it since it will only be a week, 2 weeks at most?

I wouldn't worry about it if it's just a week. You can maybe cut back a little but it would take longer than a week for your appetite to start adjusting. I was sidelined for a few weeks a few months ago and it was really the second week before I started feeling less hungry due to lower activity.

Thank you for your reply. It's hard to get any responses on serious questions, maybe if I posted that I was on a 1200 Calorie diet, or posted how well HCG has worked for me, I would get more responses lol.
