Teeter-Tottering Betwen 2-3 lbs..IRRITATING!

Since starting MFP & BBL i have only lost 3.2 lbs (30 days). I keep going back up & then back down. I have lost inches, so that's a plus, but why won't the scale keep going down, instead of up & down???? I'm irritated, and don't won't to lose focus because of the #s on the scale. I'm going to continue to eat right and exercise, and hope that the #s will decrease. I do feel lighter although the scales says something different  Well, thanks for letting me vent. I'm ready to get my 5th week started!

I had the same thing happen for 5 weeks straight. I lost 10lbs in three weeks then my weight teetered 2lbs for 5 weeks. Then the day after Easter I dropped 2lbs below my lowest number. I credit it to the chocolate lol. I don't really know what happened but things just kicked into gear. Like you I noticed a difference in my fitness level just not the scale.

It's probably because you have a small amount to lose. I've been going through this too since I hit the last 10 lbs. Keep eating at a deficit but maybe switch things up a little. Eat a little more/less or try different exercises. It's frustrating, but know that people will notice the inches lost, not the numbers on the scale.

Right now I am doing 2 workouts, so hopefully that will jump start it some. When you said people will notice the inches lost, not the number on the scdale, you were sooo correct. Thanks for the advice.

How frequently are you weighing yourself? It can vary quite a lot depending on time of day, time of the month etc.

It's also about measurements as the scale could not move much because you're loosing weight but gaining muscle. If you haven't taken measurements, give it a go and see if there's a difference in a month or so
