Motivational tips?

I often find that no matter how strict I am on myself, I'll eat.
It's easier when I'm at uni - I usually can't afford to buy rubbish and stock my cupboards full of it!
But when I'm at home, if I'm sat doing nothing, I'll eat without evening thinking about it. I know that's likely due to boredom, but as I'm revising at the moment, I don't have the opportunity to go out and have fun.

Has anyone got any good motivational tips? Has anyone done the whole sticking pictures of yourself on cupboards?
Just a bit stuck :/

Getting out of the house and going somewhere where you aren't going to stuff your face is always good, but I know it's hard sometimes. I am less likely to snack if my hands are busy so I sew or craft or just go to sleep, lol. If you find yourself over-snacking, take some time and portion out snacks. If I have tupperwares with single servings of chips or popcorn or whatever, I'm more likely going to stop at just one than I am if I just reach into the bag and chow down. I am more aware of what I'm putting into my body and less likely to keep eating (plus, who wants to clean 4 tupperware containers when all I really needed was a small snack and something to do?).
