lifting twice in a day?

If i work out(lift) my lower body in the morning is it ok to work out(lift) my arms and shoulders in the afternoon? if not why?

I know people do it that way, but for me I could not. Occasionally I could do cardio later in the day after I've lifted in the morning, but usually I'm pretty spent and wouldn't be able to get a real good workout in if I wanted to. Better to do it next day IMO.0

Only if you eating enough to compensate, and having enough rest, not ideal though..

I just take a day or so to recover after...0

i quite frequently weight train twice in a day. Been doing it for years, and seems to work just fine.0
