I realize there are sooo many to choose from these days, and yes, I’m a big True Blood fan (Twilight not so much), but my love of vampires started with me when Kiefer Sutherland donned those sexy fangs back in 1987 in The Lost Boys

and then one of my all time favorite shows that I miss dearly - Buffy the Vampire Slayer – introduced me to Spike … so much more cooler than Angel :glasses:

Anyone remember the short-lived TV series: Kindred: The Embraced??? That was an awesome show with some hottie vamps – would have been much better if they got a better actor other than C. Thomas Howell though! But Julian was smoking hot!

    Oh Selene is definitely one of my faves because she's also so badass... but in True Blood I also love Pam played by Kristen Bauer... hope I posted this right...

    @OP: The show Kindred: The Embraced was based off of the Pen & Paper RPG called Vampire: The Masquerade, which I played with a few friends. My character was Gangrel clan. There were a few other clans not mentioned in the series because it would have been difficult to work them into the show. Also, the RPG revolved around a feud between the Werewolves and the Vampires, which is what Underworld is based on. The game has a great back story revolving around Cain (as in from the biblical story of Cain & Abel) as being the first vampire.

    I LOVED the Lost Boys. You should also check out the film Near Dark. It's from around the same era and is just as good IMO.
