I don't "ban" anything. Moderation is key.
HOWEVER, there are certain foods that make me just throw moderation out the window, especially when I'm drinking....
PEANUT BUTTER
ice cream
cereal
bread0 -
This is just an evil thread!0
-
I really only try to ban things that are utter garbage with zero nutritional value. A little dark chocolate and/or red wine are welcome in my house. I think having temptations around to resist and/or enjoy in moderation are the key to long term success.0
-
Anything with high fructose corn syrup
Anything with partially hydrogenated oil
Anything that claims to be "healthy"...if you have to market the fact that your product is "healthy"...then it's probably not all that. Besides, we all know what we should be eating most of the time.
This sums up my list as well!0 -
1. Any ice cream.
2. Chocolate chip cookies.
3. Sugary cereal.
4. Certain kinds of bread.
5. Non-diet soda.0 -
I know it's not food but the only thing I've really banned is Mountain Dew. One can becomes a few, becomes a 2 liter, etc etc. One I start I can't stop so I just had to completely stop drinking it And I hate the way diet dew tastes so that's not an option XD0
