How many carbs is low-carb?

Hi all!
I would like to lower my carbs and adopt a "low-carb" diet, in order to help with my weight loss and (after much research) my PCOS symptoms. However, I'm not sure how many carbs constitute low-carb. I know it varies person-to-person, but any advice, percentages, numbers, etc. would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I have been low carb for over 13 months, I varied a bit to get the right amount for me, I eat under 25g of carbs a day.

The most common definition I've seen is < 100 total carbs per day.

I try to stay between 25 and 40 net carbs (total carbs - fiber) during the week, and then relax a bit and go up to ~60 on weekends. It allows me TONS of veggies, a bit of fruit and/or nuts, and a small occasional splurge. I'm not always perfect, but those are my goals.

I have PCOS as well. Low carb, as previously mentioned, is general described as 100g or under. However, I personally find it difficult to lose weight at anything over 60g. Low carb isn't just 'lower carbs' it's about higher fat and/or adequate protein. There are several different low-cab approaches, you'll need to find one that works for you.

Most low-carb induction period diets limit you to 20 net carbs per day for 2 weeks to jump start weight loss. I'm doing 30 net carbs; 20 was too few and I was feeling hungry. Good luck!
