Today I started a new phase of my training, I am adding more cardio for the next few weeks. I personally don't like cardio.

How much cardio do you do on a daily/weekly basis? Are you ONLY doing cardio?

The longest I do cardio on a day is 30 mins. Sometimes only 15-20.

I try for 30-45 minutes 3-4 days a week. I found if I just lifted and did'nt do some form of cardio, my overall fitness level went down.

I do a combo of trail running, treadmill running, jogging, walking and biking at least 4-5 times a week for 45-60 minutes each time, and lift 3 times a week.

I do 2 hours 2 days a week and 1 hour 2 days a week. I do weights for 2 hours twice a week and have a rest day. I need a long recovery time for the weights which is why I don't add another day for those. I have a home gym. My cardio is treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike and a water rower.

Look into HIIT training. It takes a LOT less time than the regular cardio routines and you get more out of it.

I do mostly strength training, less cardio. I try not to "burn" the calories my muscles need.
