new exercise program and not sure what to do with cals?

ok i was doing tdee - 15% and it was bringing me around 1500 cals a day average...... now i am going to be starting chalean extreme this week and i went on beachbody's site to see where my cals should be and it said 1290? so i am a bit confused, even when i wasn't doing tdee i was doing 1400 plus exercise cals on the days i worked out.... i have maintained my weight for 3 months doing that.... so i am surprised that it said 1290 as i will be burning more cals with this program plus working out a extra 2 days a week with it... isn't 1290 low? not sure where my cals should be now with this new program?
