My shoes....help!

I cannot find a pair of shoes that does not just about kill me by the time I am finished walking! I just got home and am soaking my feet in my foot spa. I walk for around an hour several nights a week, and by the time I am finished my feet are so sore. Not sure what that part of my foot is called but it's right behind the toes, in front of the arch (the ball of my foot maybe?). That's the only part that hurts but it is brutal ! I have bought 3 pairs of shoes so far, and they are all terrible. One was a cheap brand so no big deal there, but the others are skechers and nikes. Anyone have advice for the best walking shoes?

The only shoes that I have ever found that don't hurt me are Asics, I love, love, love them. I also ovepronate when I walk or run so the Asics Kayano is perfect and it's what I've been wearing for years even though it's a running shoe, I use it for my every day shoe. It's the only shoe that I've ever found that would correct that problem. You might have bunions and just require a wider shoe or you might be hurting the tendon. No matter what your foot problem is, they have a shoe to fix it, at least that's what I think. Anyway, I really like that brand and thought that I would suggest it.0
