Finding Motivation

Hello! I am trying to find my motivation to keep me on track to loose this weight. I am the heaviest I have ever been and feel miserable. But when I get depressed, I eat more and become lazy. I have tried different diets and I am hoping on here I will have the support to accomplish my goal. If you have any tips or suggestions I will take anything. Thanks

I guess my best advice is, act as if you have motivation. Start eating right and moving your body more and when the weight begins to drop, you will feel better and begin to find your motivation. The better you feel, the more confidant you will be that you CAN do this! Just start the journey-put one foot in front of the other, log in your foods and exercise everyday. Talk to the people here-they've all been where you are.0

Changes will happen if your desire is true enough. There aren't tricks to make things work, just patience and dedication. If you're really tired of where you're at in life right now, you'll do something about it.0

I'm trying to motivate myself to be more consistent with checking in here everyday. I have been hit or miss when it comes to tracking my food and exercise.
I decided that I have to make a point to check in everyday, not just for tracking but to also read the boards and the blogs. My motivation comes from inspiration for those here with their success stories and impressive losses.

Thanks! Well the motivation showed up through a text message. It's sad to say that a broken heart isn't much of motivation but it is to me. I am now making sure I am logging my food in everyday. Also, I found it helpful to post a blog everyday through my journey, so far so good. I keep telling myself, just keep swimming. lol. My mom is actually doing it with me which is totally awesome.
