Keeping it balanced

Ive been active on myfitnesspal for almost 2 weeks now. I havent weighed in yet, planning on doing that first thing tomorrow. My problem is that I'm finding it hard to keep the good and bad nutrition balanced. Most of the time I am short on calories and protein but my sugar and sodium are already maxed out for the day. Can anyone offer some advice on how I could work on this?

It's just eating the right foods. If you can, eat fresh foods, cook them all yourself, etc.. Focus on increasing the amount of protein you eat. Chicken, fish, eggs, lean meats and the like. Try to cut back on what contains sugar and sodium. Sugar and sodium are often found in processed foods, so avoid those.
Fruits and veggies. Lean meats. Whole grains.
