Measuring food by weight, not volume and the MFP database

Is there an easy way to look up the nutritional value of food in the MFP database based on weight, not volume? Most of the measurements appear to be volume.

I lot of the MFP entries have multiple ways of entering including grams. You can tell these because they do not have an asterisk next to it. I always use those whenever possible. In addition to that, I will look at the label and see what the weight is and then do my own calculation for what percentage that is of a volume measurement. So if something is 57g or 1/2 cup and it weighs 45g when I weigh it, I will just enter .8 of the 1/2 cup serving. HTH and close to what you were asking.0
