    Job well done mom!!
I've also voted for your beautiful son.

I'm a special needs teacher, and can tell you 'my' kids mean the world to me. Love each and everyone ofthem as they were my own. I'm an advocate for my kids and have almost been fired, because of my fight for my babies.
May God Bless you and your family.

I interned at an elementary school for 2 years in high school. My favorite place to be was the special needs class. I am always amazed at how these precious children can go through so much and overcome so many obstacles and come out smiling like they won the lottery. I voted for ya. Good luck and give your boy a big hug from us!!

I have voted and am about to share this onto my Fb to hopefully get more votes :)
I myself am (mild) special needs...might not even be classified as that anymore, I just have learning difficulties and memory loss (I have been diagnosed with Dissociative amnesia and PTSD from a very young age.)
All of that was very severe up to the age of 20, but now (age 22) I am pretty much independent and my diagnosis is mild now and does not get in the way as much :D
Your son,you and your family have my prayers and support :)
  • I voted! From Southwestern Ontario here as well.

Bless you, it is people like you that truly make a difference in our special kids lives. My sons EA has been with him since JK, he is graduating grade 8 in June, she has fought and advocated for him and got herself in trouble as well, but all out of love! Thank you for your support.
