Running app needed

So last spring I started running. I used C25K app to get my buns going and was very successful with it. I have been able to continue to make improvements with my physcial and mental strength and now am looking to move up my distance. I need help/suggestions on where to go...Do I do a 10K training plan and if so what suggestions do you have or do I go half marathon (seems intimdating for a new/old runner) and if that is the direction then what suggestions for training plan. I had great success with a phone app and feel that would be the best bet no matter which distance I go for....

There is a C210K app for your phone if you want a longer repeat of the C25K app. I also started with C25K last summer and then ran a 5K and a back to back 5 and 10K but for the most part my favorite running occurs per-dawn with just me and my running buddy Haley (85 pound, black, German Shepherd). I track all of my running using Nike+ and watching the miles accumulate is motivation enough to keep going out. I worked my way up to 8 miles runs 3 times a week and a longer run on the weekend. Now I am reading Hal Higdon's book on Marathons and am debating following his marathon training program for the next 18 weeks. He also has a 1/2 marathon training program that you might be interested in. Take care, stay healthy, run strong!

I use RunKeeper and like it alot! RunKeeper also has several built in programs including a 1/2 marathon trainer... good luck!
There are several for the iPhone if you search the app store.

I have lately become fond of Endomondo, and it can automatically sync to MFP.

Runtastic is great, also it syncs data right into MFP.

Run-keeper is the best. It tracks you with GPS and tells you exactly how you walk or run, elevation, hills etc and calculate your calories after that. Perfect.

I've been using runkeeper at the same time as c25k to keep track of distance and time.

I will use some of the pre set programs on the app afterward to keep up with running I think.

I just downloaded "Spring", its free today (maybe always), it looks pretty neat. I normally use Edmondo.
