I've done much research on the subject of protein and wanted to share with everyone how important it is to get your protein in at every meal. For woman, you should be eating 15 to 30 g of protein and for men, 15 to 40 g of protein. Not only does it fuel your body but it helps keep you full for longer amounts of time. Your body needs this and by making sure you are eating the correct portions at every meal, will help you lose weight!

It better be per meal because that is definitely not enough protein per day!

Yes per meal. It's more like 1 gram per lean body mass
So say a 130 pound woman at 20% body fat would consume 110grams protein divided by say 6 meals a day = 19 grams each meal.

If you're intensely active, body builder or athlete, the grammage (yes, I just made that word up) goes up 1.2 - 1.5 per lean body mass.

Interestingly, I found that I get headaches when I don't get enough protein. It is so important especially for building muscle!
