I finally got it today...

I ached this morning. My hip hurt, my neck hurt, I was tired and sore, even though I've had a couple of rest days and eaten a lot more. Couldn't face breakfast, so had a shake as usual and headed down the gym.

On the treadmill, I was stiff, my warm up took forever, I still didn't feel loose after ten minutes ramping up the speed slowly. But I started my Z25K intervals. Meh. They weren't as bad as they could be.

And then it happened. Suddenly, everything felt warm, and my legs felt strong and I had to speed up the treadmill because I was in danger of running into it. My heels picked up, I got faster and then I realised what I was doing;

I was running. Proper, loose, strong running. Breathing strongly but feeling good.

Then I had to slow down and let my heart rate go back to a lower level, but I did it.

I am a RUNNER.

    AWESOME!! Its the beginning............cause its addicting! Wait till your first 5K! Yay running in the summertime is in the cards for you! :bigsmile:
