Foam Rollers

Anyone have a reliable (quality of roller and transactions if online) place that they get their foam rollers from? Brands of rollers you say are 'top notch' and brands to stay away from?

Looking for a high density, full length one that will 'last a while.' Have tried a couple of jfit ones that seemed pretty light weight and that's not what I'm looking for.

Grid rollers last well and a bit more purposeful than typical foam rollers but they're not full length. Similarly a quadballer is even better still for legs but can't do more.

I got one of these for traveling, its small size fits in a duffel bag and works great. Other than that I just use the high density black foam rollers.

Thanks. Will check out the quadballer. Interested in it for my back, mainly. I have a 36 in high density white one from years ago for legs/travel.

I have a SKLZ one it's pretty good. It's a flat one, the one with the spikes work your muscles deeper but when I tried it made me cry.

That is hard core! I got mine from Perform Better, I have the black full roller. I've purchased other items from them and never had any problems.

I also have a rumble roller which literally took my breath away and made me sick to my stomach... but I felt great afterwards.

I'm so glad I don't see ads. Firefox with AdBlockPlus FTW!!!

I got my foam roller from my local running shop. It's OTPT Axis http://www.protherapysupplies.com/Shop-by-Brand/OPTP/OPTP-Axis-Roller-Black?gclid=CM3KjeGyvrYCFQ6nnQodcXoAyg&source=googleps

I also use a back roller for my back (and feet, actually!). I had PT for my back in college, and they recommended one and ever since I just can't live without the thing http://www.rakuten.com/prod/body-back-company-back-roller/240593914.html?listingId=239662206

I get mine from my physical therapist's office.

Maybe you can find a local office and they'll be able to sell you one?

I got one of these. . . I just can't use it. It hurts so bad! I don't know if the fact that I'm on blood thinner makes me more sensitive or what, but OMG. . .

I got a small foam roller from TJ Maxx, I think it was a Women's Health brand fr. I don't know if that is good quality since I haven't really used any other one, but I love it.

Agreed. They definitely hurt (part of the reason I forgot where I got my last one years ago-I stopped using it right after I got it b/c it hurt so bad).

I got mine from tptherapy.com which is trigger point performance. I used to think they were really pricey until I saw the amount of info you get when you buy it. You can learn how to use it for the issues you have now and as new ones come up you can go back to them for info. Their customer service is awesome too. I also use a Pinky Ball ($2 at most box stores) and between those two I feel great! I haven't had as much success with TPs quad baller or tennis ball thingy that they sell as a package with the roller.
