I would like to be able to track the calories I burn while doing workouts but cannot afford a fitbit and other trackers like that. Does anyone know of an inexpensive gadet that will track calories burned? Thanks!

Polar FT4 Watch... costs about $90.. but I felt was worth it! Tracks calories burned and also helps you keep in your target heart rate range based on your weight.0

You can buy an inexpensive pedometer that will give you "calorie burns" for walking and other cardio.

The problem is they don't have any way to track your heart beat. Heart rate monitors compare your resting heart rate with your active heart rate .... this helps the accuracy. HRM's with cheast straps measure your heart rate constantly .... wrist only models measure your heart rate from time to time.0 -
There's a zillion websites and smartphone apps out there, including MFP. Why not use ones of those?
They are just estimates, one is not guaranteed to be any more right than another.0 -
i bought a heart rate monitor for 79 bucks it syncs with my phone and apps so i dont have to wear the watch one it operates on blue tooth technology0
