Help with protein.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to increase my protein levels, today I've had eggs, peanut butter, mackerel and a protein shake, ( of course I've eaten other items ) but I've just mentioned the ones that help with the protein. But my protein intake is still a lot lower than my fat and carb intake.
So I need ideas of what foods I can eat which are high in protein. I do not eat meat but do try and have fish 2 or 3 times a week.

I haven't got much more to lose ( about 7 lbs ) but I do hold a lot of fat around my middle so I am hoping that adding a lot more protein will help the weight and fat shift.

Any advice greatly received, many thanks. xx

Your diary for today looks good. Do you like Greek Yogurt? You can add it to anything plain. Or sweeten with stevia and add berries then you get protein and fiber. Also this week I got some salmon steaks on sale they have been nice.

Mel, I took note of your message this morning, Greek yogurt is ok, am going to fill up on cottage cheese when I next go shopping as that's good for protein. I also love salmon but have that a lot. x

I'm vegetarian and eat around 150g of protein a day. Feel free to check out my diary for ideas.
