How do you even out mismatched strength?

For instance, on OHP with dumbbells, my left arm obviously struggles more than my right. So would I do different weights?? Higher or lower weight for the weaker arm??
TIA!

Do whatever your left arm can manage. Eventually they'll even out.0

My left side only had 30% of the strength of my right side (as determined by my physio therapist). His approach was to have my left side working appropriately, and my right side "under working" so to speak. After three months of physio my sides were within normal parameters (left side 80% of the right side).0

That's a really long winded way of saying target your weak side until it catches up .
TL;DR that it may be though, it is accurate. I'm dealing with this myself in my legs because of a college injury. It's a huge pita and very humbling, but it's important in the long run.0 -
Work out your weak side as hard as the strong side. Eventually it'll even out. Whatever you do, dont work them differently or it'll never even out.0
