Running with Samsung Note 2

I have an arm band, but prefer to run with my phone in my hand.
My thumb and middle finger touch when I grip my HTC EVO.
I am a male with average hands.
I want to get the Note 2. I love the big size.

But I'm worried I will drop it while running.

Thoughts??

The first thing in any review is about the size.
I kept thinking, "I don't care. I want the big phone"
When I finally held one, I had to admit ---- It's pretty darn big.
