Back again

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here! I think it was before I had our fourth son in 2010. Anyway, I've been working hard and have lost about 30 pounds since the end of October. My ticker here says 20 pounds but that is from my old highest weight. I'm over halfway to goal now...I'm aiming for another 20-25 pounds. My motivation has been slipping lately. It was strong until about two weeks ago, when a 10 mile race I had signed up for was very close. It's like I froze! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to finish, even though I'd been training consistently and had actually done 10 miles during one of my training runs. I did make it and met my goal of finishing somewhere between 1:30 and 1:45. My final time was 1:36:01. Now that the race is over, I've been feeling a little lost. I'm ready to get going again though and am starting another round of training, this time to build up my speed. I have a few races I want to run during the spring and summer so this will help me with those.

I'd love to connect with some fitness buddies. Let's encourage each other! Summer isn't far away...I bet we could lose 10-15 pounds between now and then.
