new member please help!!

Hello,
im 21 years old and recently over the last few months have lost 61 pounds! i couldnt be happier with myself.... however i still would like to loose another 40 pounds and have recently been finding it a struggle to keep myself motivated! im hoping by trying this out that others will be able to help motivate me! has this ever happened to anyone else i feel like im so close and like if i dont do something about it now that ill only end up throwing it all away, im excercising regularly but seeing as i work in a bistro i end up working alot of late nights and then get home and just eat whatevers most conveinient! im not at all slipping back into bad habbits, in fact im very aware of when i make a bad decision, but i would much prefer if someone could give me some advice so that i can avoid making the wrong decision in the first place!! thanks!!

Well the good news is that you can count those hours on your feet at the Bistro!! and don't be so hard on yourself. If you are working late and eat what is available make sure you LOG your food and be aware of portion sixe and where you are at with your calorie intake. Good Luck:flowerforyou:

Make sure that "whatever's convenient" in your home to eat happens to also be healthy. Make sure you are eating the right things at the right times. You need five or six small meals a day to keep your metabolism going and they hungries at bay. You want to have some carbs before exercise and some protein after. And post visuals everywhere! They help! Motivational quotes/pics... print them out and stick them on the fridge, cabinet, wherever you will see them. Whatever your goal weight is, write it on a post-it and stick those suckers wherever you most need to see them. You CAN do this!
  • I would suggest for the late-night food to find convenient healthy food to eat. Deli turkey, veggie slices/sticks (I love carrots), nuts. If you have extra time on a day off, separate them into serving-size containers, so you know exactly how much you ought to eat of whatever it is.

The main trick would be to make the unhealthy food more inconvenient than the healthy food. And we'll definitely be buds :)
