With only 10 lbs to lose, you probably aren't going to lose a pound a week. Figure out your TDEE, and eat 250 cals less that to aim for a 1/2 lb per week.0

You shouldn't plan to eat under BMR for weight loss. This is a simple explanation of how to set your target: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/952996-level-obstacles-lose-weight-target-fat-easy0

You subtract calories from your TDEE, not your BMR. Your BMR is used to calculate your TDEE (basically, you multiply your BMR by your activity level). As others have said, you don't have much to lose, so aim for half a pound a week loss.0

Using no more information than this, I'd say set your base calories at about 1600 and eat back your exercise calories. BMR is the number of calories your body burns just being alive for things like breathing and organ function. Even if you are sedentary, in a typical day you will burn more than your BMR through digestion, walking, thinking, etc. Just standing can burn about 100 calories per hour.0 -
Ok my TDEE is 1634. Im 124 and 5'3 iv already lost from 130, its been a while since i lost the weight though. Thanks for the info. So I should shoot for around 1300 to 1400 cal a day? I want to make sure im eating enough calroies so i dont go into starvation mode. Oh and i cant work out because i have a kidney disease and my kidneys make stones all the time plus i have stupid stent in my kidney that hurts so bad every time i do too much it sucks because i love doing zumba on my kids wii. But as soon as i know more about my health next week and find out weather i need surgery i will start working out if everything is all good! Thanks so much everybody. I hope im able to lose baby weight.0

Yes, you don't want to go much below your BMR so 1400 is probably a good number. If you are able to include exercise at some point, eat more to fuel that.0 -
