What changes should I make to my diet?

Hey,
my diet is pretty static, so I was wondering what kind of health changes might you recommend. I want to make sure I'm eating the right things while still staying around my daily intake (1200-1300 preferably). This is my daily set-up usually:
Breakfast: One large baked sweet potato, with cinnamon OR on other days 3 egg whites and a packet of Quaker's apple cinnamon oatmeal
Lunch: Salad with spinach, tomato, cucumber, and chopped egg (sometimes I do a small portion of chopped chicken in place of the eggs) and one english muffin with a strawberry jam packet (for my sweet tooth).
Dinner: Same salad as lunch, I have a problem grabbing for a cake cone with a small portion of vanilla soft serve (I'll be changing this, for sure.)
Snacks throughout the day: 1 hot chocolate packet, might end up having a second sweet potato or a kashi trail mix bar.
Thoughts? Comments? All are very appreciated!

I would add some fruit! Bananas and maybe apples with peanut butter are always delicious and pretty filling. Also, potatoes are pretty starchy so I would try to limit to having it only for one meal. I like to add granola bars as they are a nice on the go snack and something else I enjoy if you like tuna or salmon, get them in water and put them on wheat thins (dont add mayo, its not worth the calories). I would probably cut out the hot chocolate (not completely, must enjoy ourselves sometimes!) and maybe instead substitute it with a pudding cup? or Special K Chocolatey pastry crisps? (They taste like chocolate chip poptarts) Take a look at my diary for ideas if you'd like! Have fun with it and never give up anything completely! You'll go crazy. :laugh:0 -

^^ ditto, your eating way too LOW, you need to add more meat ( unless vegan or vegetarian) then you need more soy protein filled things. Your body is going to burn muscle not fat because it has no protein helping it burn the bad and store the good0 -
I have to switch up my salads or I get really, really sick of them - you can add fruit and cheeses. Use different dressings. Sometimes all spinach, sometimes no. Taco Salad with Avocado to get some good fat - you don't seem to eat much fat.
More fruit, veggies, lean meats, fish, nuts.
You can definitely afford to eat a bit more, it seems.0 -
Fruits, veggies (try roasted veggies... they are are my new favorite thing), nuts, def. more protein.... (tuna, chicken, salmon, lean beef...)0

Thanks everyone! I'm still open for more suggestions0
