eat a little before workout?

I usually have my last meal about 6:30 at nite. 5 days a week my gym opens at 4:45am, 7 on sat. Since it has been awhile since my last food, would I get a better workout by eating a little before hitting the gym? I usually have a meal about an hour after coming home from the workout.

    Some people prefer fasted workouts, others literally can't move unless they've eaten.

    I'd suggest a banana or apple before your workouts.

    It's up to your personal preference. My workouts are terrible if I've eaten within the last 12-14 hours or so I never eat before I workout.

    depends on you I suppose..but never eat before workout and train fasted...works for me ...I could never workout on a full stomach...but that is just me...

    I don't eat a lot, but I don't gas out as quick if I eat prior. Just a banana or a piece of peanut butter bread.

    I always try and get a small snack at least before I eat, otherwise I don't have the energy and I feel like the trip was wasted.
