Exercise Victory!

I had been doing C25K for about eight weeks and I could not get past the week seven, day two workout: Run 25 minutes or 2.5 miles. So I stopped following C25K's program and just exercised.

Last night I used Endomondo and ran 3.2 miles in about 35 minutes. I think I still feel the jogger's high!!

I just can't believe I was able to do it.

    Congrats!!!

    I'm on Week 2 and today is Day 2 of the C25K program. I've never been able to run even a mile before in my life - I hope I can manage to go all the way!

    You most definitely can. When I started the program I weighed 247 and I'm a smoker. It took me longer than 8 weeks - but I did it.

    Whatever you do - DON'T QUIT. Your knees will hurt, you'll get shin splints (sore calves) and you will be more sore than you've ever been in your whole life...but don't quit.

    It's cliche...but if I can do it - ANYone can do it. Good luck!

    Thank you!!! I haven't been able to do that again...seems like I can't catch my 'second wind' like I did that day. Work-in-progress, as they say.
