Infertility and weight loss

HI all!
I was actually writing to find out if there are any MFPers who were having trouble conceiving before beginning a weight loss regimen. Has anyone had any success stories of losing the weight and getting pregnant??! My weight loss journey is surrounding the idea that if I lose 20% of my body weight, perhaps a baby will be in our future. Looking forward to hearing success stories.

I got pregnant for the first time after losing weight, but I lost the pregnancy. The due date would have been the end of this month.

Not a lady, but I know excess weight can increase the rate of miscarriage, as well as contribute to period irregularity. At certain points it can stop all together.
